Public Libraries in Overdrive

November 13, 2010

As a fan of audio books, I was delighted to learn that all the public libraries in the Timberlane school district participare in the New Hampshire Overdrive program. This program allows library patrons to download audio- and e-books via the internet. To participate, you need to get a library card at a participating library and ask the librarian for the library’s prefix. After that you are only a few clicks away from an educational commute. Enjoy!Once I figure out how all this works, I’ll update this post with some ‘how to’ tips.  First order of business is to get these things to play via an FM transmitter device.  After that, via a Sansa e200 or maybe a cd.
